I've been hit with art block and burnout this week tehe :D
After some feedback, an organic sand castle seems more reasonable as opposed to it being built with bricks? I feel like I needed these drawings to just visualize how the sand castle would be built/ look.
Also Ben suggested a cool shot, so that's fun! I could probably make it a lot more intense (by making the characters smaller/ more vulnerable in the shot), but I'll keep it in mind for the animatic.
